This toy is not suitable for kids at all. It has a hard time taking off and then goes in circles all over the place,. Cheap production shows. When I called the company they told me that it is only for inside which is funny because unless you have a huge room with a super high ceiling you really can’t use it. Impossible to really control the flight path. Customer Service was terrible in resolving my issues. I would not recommend this product to anybody.

Bought this as a present for my husband as he has a lot of Air Hogs helicopters and loves them. Worked as expected, just as reliable and durable as any other Air Hogs toy. I can’t give any specifics on difficulty of the controls since I’ve never used it but he seemed to fly it easy. I do remember some of the newer features he liked were the weight piece added on. He often had things taped to his old ones for a little added weight for stability.

My grandsons were very excited to get two of these toys and had a great time for as long as they lasted. Unfortunately, both broke within about ten minutes. The propeller is way too fragile. I would never buy these again. Forty or fifty dollars can be better spent on something that holds up for much longer.

My son and I received two Air Hog Heli Havoc helicopters for Christmas and they are a blast – while they last! One of them broke after a few days when the on/off button broke off during power down. We promptly exchanged it for one of the Air Hog Stinger helicopter models which then broke upon the very first use when one of the blades broke off. I did yet another exchange and the new one is working for the moment. The lady at WalMart said that they get lots of returns on these units and I’m not surprised. They are great fun when they work offering a low price, simple control scheme, and indoor use. Unfortunately they really are flimsy and don’t seem to withstand normal use – if you buy one keep your receipt!
