  1. Purchased this for my son for Christmas. He saw one while on a trip to Chicago and loved it! He will be so surprised! I rated the toy mid-range durable as it is delicate and you wouldn’t want your pet to get ahold of it!

My son has received two of these since Christmas. The first one he received Christmas day, and it broke that afternoon. We gave the toy the benefit of the doubt, as we did not see the crash landing that resulted in the breakage, but by our children’s account the toy fell about six feet, landing on the side on a tile floor. The top gear, connected to the rotors, broke and was not repairable.

Because of the enjoyment my son was having, I found another one on Amazon.com. The toy arrived today, and ten minutes after my son began playing with it, it dropped a couple of feet, landing on the kitchen floor. It promptly broke in exactly the same way as the first one.

This is definitely a fun toy to play with, but it cannot withstand being dropped, and considering the whole “flying” aspect of this toy, this is a serious design flaw. Don’t waste your money.

I got this for my 7 year old son and he loved it. It lasted almost a month (playing with it almost every other day), but then wouldn’t do anything..I knew it might not last to long with it being so small and fragile, but for $20.00 I expected it to last a little longer for sure. There is no physical damage to it, the batteries have been changed, and it has been fully charged.. so it has to be something on the inside that’s not working.

  4. My kids loved this toy, but their delight crashed when one of the two we purchased crashed almost immediately and broke. It has since been turned into a decorative robot.

  5. Usually these flying things are less than impressive however this one really flew and even hovered at one point as one might imagine a flying saucer to do. Nice radio-controlled toy.
