link-by-link tracks and drive sprocket, instead of the poorly designed rubber tracks. Sprocket currently painted Dark Yellow instead of Light Sand, as I’m out of paint. Currently using Heng Long (non-S&S) electronics and 2 x 1700mah’s. Tons of mods done, and scratchbuilt extras (CIP panels, APU in bustle rack) from styrene. mine is about 2 1/2 feet long and a foot wide lol….. shoots airsoft pellets to lol…

The cool thing is that the electric motors and gears on this model sound a little like the Abram’s Turbine engine.

scratch the linked tracks thing. i got an old TMarui M1 with(link tracks) no RC remote, so i intend to use my type90′s on it.
1/12 scale means its 12 times smaller than the real thing. 12″ of real tank equals 1″ of scaled tank. Real Abrams hull length: 7.93m (26ft) – 1/12 hull length: 66cm (26inch)
dude, that’s so cool. But 1/12 scale is hard to convince me……just like, 12 of these lining up is equal to the real M1??the real M1A2 is huge…

Hi Roberthehn – they are sold under a guise of names, you see them on ebay all the time. Usually like “huge 85cm tank” or “1/12 panzer”. If its 1/12, its one of these. They come in two paintjobs: green with dark-green camo and tan with brown camo. Hope that helps

Thanks for the comment. I havent done much with this lately, as I’ve got a few other projects on the go (Bandai Hummel). Today I made a halftrack for a bit of backyard fun… will post videos when its worthy of public audience
