use a couple strips of fiber tape across the wings or even better use a carbon fiber spars

lol, i thought saying that was kinda funny too, now if i can only find a lipo big enough to fly my plane to dave power’s house, then i could get true revenge. on second thought, if my plane could go that far, i’d rather shoot keith with a few pellets instead. lol.j/k. The Gun Is Mounted and Fully Operational! So i’m pretty excited. now i just have to wait for a good day to fly. Wont be long now!

Thanks Mitch. My internet sux here, been trying to find you guys on the chatroom. The Kf airfoils are on and the elevons have the new hinges, so it’s time to slap the new airsoft gun on, since i hacked up the last gun a little too much. lol. consider it a learning curve. Good news is the new gun will go on super easy now that i know what to do, little modification needed :) . Very easy install for anybody who builds scratch planes. So get that 30″ F22 of yours ready!

But, what ever cold bug has been in this house it just seems to stick around.. I need to buy some Lysol and disinfect my house.. I have been airing out our place every day that we get warm weather.. Anyway..
    That is how I’m feeling..
I hope your plan works out for your jet.. Mitch told me that you’ll have to buy a new airsoft gun..
    Chat at ya later..

    Hey Brando…
I have a stupid sinus cold.. I got this cold from my kids… They go to school and bring home bugs from everyone else that is sick in their classes.. I don’t get sick all that often, but I do get run down and migraines.. Then I just don’t feel like talking to anyone, so I say I’m not well.. But really sick, I don’t get…

  8. RCFMitch says:

well Brando does it yet again, amazing design
good construction, steady flight , well done.

cant wait to shoot some of my buddies. i have one that always wants to catch my planes on landings. maybe i wont tell him this one has a gun on it and on approach just let him have it. let us all know how your feeling and doing. hope you get better soon!

you should have jumped in.. it would make an awesome water slide… lol..
Can’t wait to see the airsoft gun part 2.. When you get home you can fly it down your street and shoot S.L. Bah hahahahaha… JK..

also, i’m going to redo the control surface hinges and use your “over n under” tape method i saw in your video last night. tips like that are the ones that make good planes great.

i was planning on building one solid airfoil for the top deck to cover both wings. hopefully that will give me the stiffness i need, speed up the air passing over the wing, and generate more lift from the bottom. still trying out the dimensions though. but your exactly right. i’ve had great results with kf airfoils in the past. they will definitely help here. thanks.

Looks awesome Brando! I was thinking of doing an airsoft plane too a little bit ago. Cool stuff, I’m sure your plane will come out great like always and all of your viewers like me we learn a ton. The plane looks very awesome too. Have you looked at possibly using a KF airfoil? The KF can help in giving more lift for heavy loads and make the wing a bit stiffer. Just an idea. Anyway, I really like the look of the plane, Awesome work as always!
